Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to enhance software quality. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Testing: Designing and executing test cases to identify software defects and issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the software meets quality standards and complies with requirements.
- Bug Reporting: Documenting and reporting defects, including steps to reproduce them.
- Test Planning: Developing test plans, strategies, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
- Compatibility Testing: Verifying software's compatibility with different platforms and browsers.
- Performance Testing: Assessing the software's performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Security Testing: Evaluating the software for vulnerabilities and security risks.
- Documentation: Maintaining test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test results.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with testing trends and tools to enhance testing processes.
- Defect Tracking: Using bug tracking tools to monitor and manage defects through their lifecycle.
- Problem Solving: Analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying and communicating potential risks in the software.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development, programming, and databases.
- Familiarity with testing tools and test management software.
- Proficiency in manual testing and automated testing techniques.
- Knowledge of various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software defects.
- Efficient time management and organization skills to meet project deadlines.
